Very nice family hospitality !

Unique hotel with outstanding food and efficient staff. Incredible and excellent location of the property with free parking. Truly enjoyed very beautiful area...

Great choice for trip. Intimate and unique hotel located in a beautiful area adjacent to the castle, in a beautiful old building as well as Gjirokaster. Sumptuous breakfast with local Albanian food, polite workers.

Quite small bathroom.

We enjoyed the good breakfast with the freshest local cheese bread that added a special touch to our mornings.

The water temperature in the shower was a bit challenging to control at times, a slight inconvenience.

The location was fantastic - walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. And it's not too far away from Homemade Food Lili, ate there once or twice.

The exterior and interior designs blew me away, beautifully crafted and fine in person. My room offered a cozy atmosphere, allowing me to sleep like a baby. The breakfast? One of the best I've had, served by a wonderfully friendly lady who brightened my mornings. I loved that the location sat right inside the castle. Having car parking just outside made it so convenient to explore Berat. The only downside? The beds felt a tad hard for my liking, but it didn't dampen my overall enjoyment. I'd definitely return!

The service was outstanding, totally satisfied. Smooth check-in was a bonus. The location of the hotel was central, just off the old citadel of Berat, a wonderful garden with beautiful views over the surrounding valley and the medieval castle. Also, I was at a moderate distance from Kantor Kellett Gallery.

Shame the bathroom was quite small.

fine views and easy access to history and food

My stay was enjoyable with easy walks to attractions like the national iconographic museum and the beautiful osum canyon, both just a short stroll away from my cozy room.

Exploring Berat killed it with my family, especially the castle and nearby medieval streets. We enjoyed the local vibes and authentic food this stay nice for us all, including our teenage kids. The breakfast spread blew us away with local delicacies.

My kids wished for more activities for teens.

The location amidst a medieval castle provides amazing views. The air-conditioned room was cozy and well-organized, perfect for summer. Breakfast, with fresh cheese bread, was extraordinary and complemented by friendly service from the staff. Despite the charm, the somewhat cozy bedrooms may feel a bit cramped for some, and the walk back from the Old Town is quite steep, which might not suit everyone.

The view from my cozy room was amazing! I reminded me of royalty staying inside a castle, such a unique vibe. Oh, and did I mention the room had air conditioning? Perfect summer getaway!

But wow, the walk back was like a mini workout! I may have imagined the castle guards chasing me-just a tad steep, darling!

The authentic feel of the place, and the breakfast spread was a good start to our day! We loved relaxing in the cozy TV room and took advantage of the lovely garden for a peaceful afternoon. The only downside was that the beds could be a bit firm, but it didn't take away from our great stay 😊

Staying with friends was lovely! We loved the warm hospitality and the fantastic food. We also enjoyed our time exploring the beautiful castle area and the charming local cafes. For anyone visiting, make sure to soak up the lovely views while enjoying meals outside.

One tricky part was the steep walk back from the attractions. It was definitely a workout after a long day, so consider that when planning your outings.
